Melges Season

First melges spring season under the belt. Sailing against a former whitbread who did tactics. Just wednesday warriors we.

Last week  i got a bit more on the helm and the boat felt more lively, like the preverbial big dinghy.  It did however carry way on braking the boat in my brake and go fredism.

I was practcing for a predictable so I thoiught, windward start and after a couple of hoists I started getting instructions on going up and down. Pretty relaxed and we matched speed on the syndicate despite wrong trim on the main sail. It was very relaxed. I was tired so that helped me kind of relax and get on with it really. Kiss. Keep it simple stupid.

Anyway I got kicked off as it was the last night and the owner wouldnt do tactics we needed to either roll or out gybe them

Anyway a jolly time was had after they failed to drop kite on a stb rounding.

I'm not a bad sailor really.
